Asian Games Team India Squad: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Indian men’s cricket team for the 19th Asian Games scheduled to be held in September. The responsibility of captaincy has been given to young player Ruturaj Gaikwad.

The BCCI has announced the names of 15 members of the Indian men’s cricket team for the 19th Asian Games, which will take place in September. The captaincy of this team has been given to young player Ruturaj Gaikwad. Several young players who have consistently performed well in previous seasons of the Indian Premier League (IPL) have also been included in the team, including Rinku Singh.
The cricket events in the Asian Games will be played in the T20 format from September 28th to October 8th. Due to the commencement of the ODI World Cup in India on October 5th, the young players’ team has been sent for this tournament. Apart from Ruturaj Gaikwad, players like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rahul Tripathi, and Tilak Varma have also been included in the team, along with Rinku Singh.
Arshdeep To Lead The Fast Bowling Attack
In this Indian team, apart from fast bowler Arshdeep Singh, players like Mukesh Kumar, Avesh Khan, and Shivam Mavi have been included. As spinners, Ravi Bishnoi and Shahbaz Ahmed have been included. Meanwhile, Washington Sundar has been included as an all-rounder.
The Asian Games are going to be held in China for the third time. Similarly, the cricket event is also being organized in it for the third time. Cricket was included in the Asian Games in the years 2010 and 2014.
